Español: Bandera del Primer Imperio Mexicano. Muestra los colores de las Tres Garantías Imperiales: Independencia, Religión y Unión. En el centro está el Escudo Nacional conformado por el Águila Mexicana Coronada sobre un nopal que nace de una peña. La Bandera del Primer Imperio fue establecida oficialmente por Decreto del 7 de enero de 1822, que dicta que "el pabellón nacional y las banderas del ejército deberán ser tricolores, adoptándose perpetuamente los colores verde, blanco y encarnado en fajas verticales y dibujándose en la blanca una águila coronada; todo en la forma que presenta el diseño (oficial)."
English: Flag of the First Mexican Empire. The flag have the Colors of the Three Imperial Guarantees: Independence, Religion and Union. In the center is the National Arms, conformed by the Crowned Mexican Eagle, this time without the Snake.
